PauseOnError :: Portland :: Oct 27-28, 2014

Hotel info | Schedule | Tickets | Attendee Field Guide

  • Pause is for FileMaker developers and consultants, in-house, no-house, indy or corporate; come with your team, or bring a buddy, or just come alone to hang out
  • Attendee list is at the bottom of the page here.

  • October 27 and 28 (an event starting at 4pm on Sunday the 26th is in the works)

  • Ace Hotel, 1022 SW Stark St. in Portland. Reservation details here: hotel info
  • The block of rooms we reserved at the Ace are sold out, but people's plans change, so we recommend calling the Ace and asking.

  • We're holding this event for the same reason we started Pause:
  • This is a great way for us to get together, share our work, get feedback, and learn from each other
  • We are, in part, inspired by the various community-driven events such as the Chelsea Hotel Art Fair and ApacheCon
  • Above all, this is a really cool way to spend some time with, and learn from, folks we just don't get to see often enough
  • Here is the schedule so far

How to Participate

  1. Purchase a ticket. Forty tickets will be available for sale Monday September 22nd. Pause is capped at 120 people and tickets will go fast so watch this space--tickets--and follow @pauseonerror on twitter for more up-to-date info
  2. Win a Scholarship to attend Pause (if you have been developing in FM for less than a year)
  3. Once you've acquired a ticket, you'll be invited to edit this wiki. If you want to hold a session, head over to sessions and follow the instructions there
  4. If you see a session you'd like to attend, drop a comment on that session page
  5. Ultimately, Pause is what you, the attendees, make of it. Learn about how to shape Pause here: Attendee Field Guide or read this reaction to the first Pause to get an overview
